Ingredients

200g dark chocolate

150g butter

2tbsp golden syrup

100g popcorn

100g marshmallows

180g ginger biscuits

100g maltesers

This was a fun video to make, combining a great kids cooking recipe video featuring a yummy rocky road and a very unique game called ‘chow crown’ that we managed to find on the internet! If you fancy getting one of the crowns we got one here but i’m not sure if the video sold it!

Anyhow, to make the rocky road, bash up the biscuits in a bag roughly so they are not crumbs but ideally smaller sized chunks. When you slice through the rocky road at the end it’ll break it for you but a big slab of biscuit isn’t really going to help with the mixing!

Melt the butter and chocolate in a microwave together on 30 second blasts, or over a pan of simmering water in a bowl if you prefer. Keep going until the chocolate is just melted and the butter can be gently stirred through, add in the syrup and keep stirring until smooth. Now add all your other ingredients (the filling which you can add anything you fancy really!) into a mixing bowl and pour over the chocolate mixture, stir really well mixing all the ingredients and coating them thoroughly. This is really essential as the chocolate mix is what will hold it all together like glue!

Pour the mixture into a lined square baking dish and place in the fridge for at least an hour to set, remove and slice into nice chunks! Boom, yummy yummy, sticking on a crown optional.
