Ever wanted to make your own coke float inspired chocolate fudge? Probably not… (yet!)… here’s how to make a really fun coca cola tasting chocolate fudge with a vanilla ice cream coke float inspired topping! Be warned though you need to store this properly and ideally leave overnight to make it both easier to get out and give it a really nice set.
The steps are nice and easy to making the coke float fudge, in fact if you wanted to omit the white chocolate topping it would be even easier! In the video about I say the phrase evaporated milk, but condensed milk is what’s needed.
Anyhow, get yourself a large saucepan and a smaller one. For the moment in the larger saucepan put in the marshmallow fluff, sugar, condensed milk and the coca cola. Take over to the hob and cook away stirring consistently to prevent the sugar sticking to the bottom, bring this to a steady simmer for a good 8-10 minutes and let it gently bubble away, again consistently stirring.
Take a fifth of the mixture and pour it into a smaller saucepan. Add the white chocolate and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the saucepan and stir with a spatula using the heat to melt the white chocolate. Add the milk chocolate to the remaining larger saucepan and another half teaspoon of vanilla extract, mix well until melted also. If either of the chocolate mixtures cool down and you want them more manoeuvrable again, place them on the heat for a brief moment to heat up.
Pour the chocolate fudge mixture into a well greased & ideally lined dish and allow to settle, then carefully pour the white chocolate mixture on top to create the coke float effect.
Let cool to room temperature then put in the fridge to firm up – at the very least 3 hours or ideally overnight. Keep cool in the fridge until you wish to serve it up. Enjoy this coca cola infused chocolate fudge!
