180g self raising flour (6 oz)
30g cocoa powder (2tbsp) + 45g (3 tbsp) for buttercream
1tbsp bicarb soda
140g caster sugar (5 oz)
2tbsp golden syrup
2 eggs
140ml veg oil (5 oz)
150ml (1/4 pint) milk plus 40ml (1.4 fl oz for buttercream
110g butter (4.5 oz)
260g icing sugar (9 oz)
