Let’s me try making and taste testing some 3 layer bacon jelly (bacon jello) that was an old recipe submitted to the website instructables that I found, it really was quite something! Made with actual bacon on all 3 layers, this was half project, half cooking operation jelly thing! The final taste was really quite something indeedy! The kitchen still smells slightly of smoke even now!
Although I would probably not make this again, i’m glad that I did as it was actually quite a clever project and a fun result! I’d use even less rice next time to help build the layers though and try to make it look more uneven!
