This pizza muffin recipe is an absolute stonker! Perfectly delicious and great for a picnic snack you’ll love the simplicity of making these with the flexibility of flavours you can add. This recipe video was hosted solely by Phoebe showing you the steps along the way, I really hope you give it a try and put your own spin on it!

First up lightly grease a muffin tin (or cupcake tin if you want pizza cupcakes) and put to one side.

Roll out the ready made pizza dough and cut into small square shapes, large enough to cover the base and sides of each muffin compartment. Gently line the tin with the dough, ensuring the sides reach the top, tearing off any excess.

Fill each dough pocket with a good handful of cheese, then some tomato sauce, and then extra cheese to pretty much fill to the level top with the tin. Top with other ingredients such as herbs. We used a small amount of garlic powder, basil and some chorizo sausage.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at gas mark 6 or equivalent (see oven conversion charts) for 15 minutes until bubbling on top and the dough is lightly browned.

Remove from the tin and let rest on a wire rack for a minute or so and gobble up! That’s it, super easy DIY pizza muffins…. now it’s your turn!
