Homemade Corn Dogs

6 jumbo frankfurters
100g plain flour
70g polenta / cornmeal
2tbsp caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
100ml milk
pinch salt
pinch baking powder
vegetable oil for frying


With the Super Bowl just around the corner Barry is asked to attempt homemade corn dogs. These are an incredibly well known American treat that are actually very simple to make in your own home – complete with a crunchy, yet slightly sweet outer shell surrounding a giant frankfurter it’s clear to see why they’re so popular.
Make some of these and then go for a run!
