Ingredients

Base ingredients, to serve one:

1 cup of oats

1 cup of milk

2 tbsp. yogurt

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tbsp. honey

Carrot cake topping;

½ a grated carrot

2 tbsp cream cheese

1 tsp allspice

¼ cup of raisins

Tropical topping;

¼ of a mango, cut into chunks

½ a banana, sliced

2 rings of pineapple cut into chunks

2 tbsp desiccated coconut

Peanut butter topping;

2 tbsp peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 strawberries, sliced

A small handle of frozen blueberries (they will deforst overnight)

To make this delicious, easy, and time saving overnight oats, first up grab yourself a glass jar (we used mason jars, but you could use an empty jam/peanut butter jar). Start by pouring in the oats, followed by the milk. Next up, spoon in the yogurt, then the chia seeds, and the honey. Once the base ingredients are in you can add in your toppings of choice, as follows.

Carrot cake;
Spoon in the cream cheese, followed by the all spice, then finish with the raisins and grated carrot.
Tropical;
Layer on the banana, pineapple, and mango. Finish with a sprinkling of coconut.
Peanut butter;
Spoon in the peanut butter, followed by a layer of strawberries and finish with the frozen blueberries.

Screw on the lids to your jars and leave in the fridge overnight, ready to grab straight out the fridge and enjoy in the morning.
Remember, you can add or tweak any toppings you like to the base overnight oat recipe. Maybe add in a spoonful of coca powder or Nutella!
