I’ve titled this video hot chicken thighs, because it is basically my own twist on hot chicken wings. There’s no big deal here, you can use wings if you like but I just find them super boney and with chicken thighs you get a good amount of meat still. This recipe takes just under and hour in total and will go down great at a party, they are also baked so perfect all Year round.
I would tweak the below ingredients to taste to your liking ideally, some of you will want it hotter.

Pre-heat an oven to Gas 4 or equivalent see cooking conversion chart place all of the ingredients except for the chicken into a large mixing bowl and mix together well until combined, tweak to your liking, checking the strength with a little taste with your finger.
Add in the chicken thighs and coat well (if not baking straight away cover in cling film and let marinate). Place thighs on a baking tray reserving the marinade and bake for 25 mins, remove from the oven and tip away any excess oil from the chicken. Pour the reserved marinade back on top and increase your oven to gas mark 6 and bake for 30 minutes basting the thighs in the marinade on the tray every ten minutes until done.
They should be deep golden coloured and slightly charred, serve with sour cream dip!
