Homemade Naan Bread

150 ml body temperature semi skimmed milk
2 tsp. castor sugar
2 tsp. dried action yeast
450g plain flour / bread flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp. vegetable oil and a little extra
150ml plain natural yogurt lightly beaten
1 large egg (70g) lightly beaten
For garlic flavour – leave if you want plain
25-50g melted butter & ¼ tsp. garlic paste

In this video Barry is back at the Sweet Cumin Cookery School learning how to make some authentic Indian homemade naan breads. These are garlic naan, but you can tweak them (or leave plain to your liking!). Super tasty, super good – hope you give it a go!
