After the first attempt at viral TikTok recipes, i’ve been sent a load more to try… this time with the help of the girls we tackle strawberry milk, pancake cereal, flour free chocolate chip cookies & a 2 ingredient chocolate bread! This was pretty fun to attempt and as you’ll see, some worked and tasted better than others! If you’d like to see more, let me know!
2 ingredient chocolate bread
Well, this was rubbish, it was basically fried bread with chocolate inside…. Really greasy! But… here’s how you make it and I’m sure you could bake it or roll it in cinnamon sugar after like a churro, but yeah, try it and you’ll see.
Take a slice of bread, place a piece of chocolate in the centre, fold over the bread from one corner to another and place a glass over the bread to press and cut out the chocolate which will keep the bread together and crimp it in place. Discard excess bread, fry in a deep pan in hot oil until browned each side (roughly 30 seconds ish) and place on kitchen towel before trying it!
Place the strawberries, sugar and water in a saucepan and warm gently stirring as you go, when it simmers, break the strawberries down a bit with a spoon to mush them and make them a little chunky. Simmer for 5 more minutes and allow to cool off the heat to room temperature.
Once cooled pour some of the strawberry mixture into a glass, add some ice cubes and pour the milk on top slowly. It should magically separate from the strawberries to create a cool effect, stir before drinking as despite how cool it looks, you will literally just have a glass of milk, then jam! When mixed, it’s not too bad!
5 ingredient flour free chocolate chip cookies
Now these were pretty good, but I’ve lowered the sugar a little bit as they were a bit too sweet for my liking. Simply beat all 5 ingredients together in a bowl and place on a lined baking tray in table tennis ball sized dollops, well spread apart. Bake at 350f/160fan/180c for around ten minutes until firmed on top and allow to cool fully on a wire rack.
Please don’t make this, this isn’t very healthy! But it is super viral on TikTok so we had a lot of requests! Make the pancake mix to package instructions, warm a frying pan and add a little oil, add small coin shaped dollops of the batter mixture to the pan using a squeezy bottle if you have one or plastic bottle with a hole on the lid, cook until bubbling on top, then flip and brown both sides, place on kitchen towel to cool and repeat cooking more mini pancakes. You basically need enough to fill a bowl for cereal – that’s it! Serve with strawberry milk made to package instructions and sprinkles for added TikTok bonkersness.
