35og dried spaghetti
3 rashers bacon, chopped roughly
80ml olive oil
3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 spring onions, ends trimmed, finely chopped
1 red chillies, chopped
handful fresh basil, chopped
pepper & parmesan, to serve
Cook pasta in a pan following packet directions drain and return to pan.
Heat oil in a frying pan add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 min then remove from heat. Add bacon to pan and cook through adding the spring onions and chilli for the last few minutes to soften.
Add garlic, bacon, spring onions and chilli mixture to pasta and toss to combine. Add basil season well with pepper. Toss until just combined.
Serve with shaved parmesan.
