400g mushrooms, 2 carrots, small tub creme fraiche, handful parmesan cheese, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves, handful porcini, 1 litre water, veg stock cube, 2tbsp tomato puree, few thyme sprigs, 100g pearl barley, round loaf of baked bread for bowl
