Your Suggested Ninja Creami Flavours Brought To Life

The Experiment

Turning viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours into actual ice cream sounded like a harmless idea when I put the poll out. As always, you lot came back with suggestions that ranged from “that could work” to “should this be legal?” In the video above (or you can watch it here on YouTube. I took seven of your viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours and put the Ninja Creami Deluxe through its paces. Some of the results were genuinely tasty. Some were the food equivalent of jumping into a cold lake. But all of them were entertaining. Below is a rundown of exactly what I made, what surprised me, what nearly broke the machine, and which one smelt so bad I almost apologised to my own kitchen.

Soup Ice Cream

This was easily the surprise of the day. I fully expected this reader suggested Ninja Creami flavour to be foul, but once I got past the initial cold shock, it was actually savoury in a really mellow, oddly enjoyable way. It wasn’t too salty, it wasn’t too strong, and the flavour didn’t fight the cold as much as I expected. I’d genuinely have this again, which I never thought I’d say about frozen soup. A crouton on top somehow made it feel intentional.

Buttery Popcorn

The popcorn one worked nicely too. I went heavy-handed with the butter and probably pushed it too far, so next time I’d either go lighter or even buy some ready-made stuff to keep it balanced. Funny enough, it was the mix-in popcorn at the end that really made it pop. This viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavour felt the most nostalgic and had that American cinema-style taste straight away.

Hawaiian Pizza

This was the disaster. The milk, pizza, dough, cheese and tomato puree all came together into something that looked a bit like a frozen lasagne explosion and tasted worse than it looked. The flouriness from the dough made the texture gritty, the tomato puree made it claggy, and the smell was absolutely horrific. Easily the worst of the viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours and one I will not be revisiting unless I’m doing some sort of forfeit video.

Sriracha

The sriracha ice cream was both deadly and brilliant. You get the cold hit first, then this rising heat that creeps across your tongue. The good news is it wasn’t overwhelming, because it was just sriracha and not some inferno-level sauce. It’s one of those combinations where your brain doesn’t quite know how to file the experience but it definitely worked better than expected.

Sour Patch Kids

I did Sour Patch Kids on their own in the end instead of mixing with Tangfastics, and they were absolute tanks. They took forever to boil down and even then the bottom of the tub froze rock solid. The Creami nearly gave up two-thirds of the way down because the syrup got too dense. Once it was shaved, I mixed in citric acid and some extra chopped sweets by hand to keep the tangy hit. The result was an extremely sweet, tropical sorbet that tasted fantastic but definitely came with a health warning. Out of all the viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours, this one felt the most like a science experiment going rogue but it paid off.

Pilk (Pepsi + Milk/Cream)

This one tasted exactly like a cola float. The cream kept it from freezing into a solid cola brick and gave it a smoother, lightweight texture that was genuinely easy to eat. It wasn’t mind-blowing but it was far better than I expected and one of the least chaotic of the batch.

The Ultimate Chocolate One

This was my own creation rather than a viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavour, so I feel like I cheated, but it was easily the best thing I made. I mixed Reese’s Peanut Butter Ice Cream with Häagen-Dazs Cookies and Cream and Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie (vegan). It froze together into one deluxe, brownie-speckled, peanut-buttery chocolate monster. This was the only tub where I genuinely thought, “Yep, I’d make that again on purpose.”

Final Thoughts

What really fascinated me about this whole experiment was how far-fetched some of the viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours were compared to what I would have come up with myself. Some of your ideas were outrageous, some were surprisingly clever, and some nearly broke the machine. But it was brilliant fun putting them to the test. If you enjoyed this one, you might also like the time I tested your cursed sandwich combinations, which you can find here.

Let me know what viewer suggested Ninja Creami flavours you want me to try next. My Creami might not forgive you, but I probably will. Or I am considering doing quirky pizza toppings too!
