The perfect air fryer?

Is the Breville Halo Flexi Air Fryer the Perfect Air Fryer?

Hey folks! Barry here. I’m a big fan of kitchen gadgets, and today we’re diving into the world of air fryers, something that in the last Year or so i’ve really enjoyed!  This time, I’ve been playing around with the Breville Halo Flexi Air Fryer. But here’s the big question: Is this the perfect air fryer? It seems to have everything i’ve wanted and was a great price! Let’s break it down, this was not a sponsored video.

First Impressions

Straight out of the box, the Breville Halo Flexi looks pretty good. It’s compact, doesn’t take up a load of kitchen space, and it’s got that nice modern vibe going on with loads of trays hidden inside. It promises crispy, evenly cooked food with less oil—basically what you want from any air fryer, right? But what makes it stand out is the flexibility in its cooking modes, including a removable divider and multi-cooking options at the same time, so naturally, I had to put it to the test.

Putting It Through Its Paces

I wanted to really push this air fryer to see what it could handle, so I lined up four tests that covered a range of cooking needs:

  1. Jacket Potato with Beans: This classic comfort dish was a great way to test how well the air fryer handles soft, fluffy insides and crispy skins with baked beans warmed in the other half.
  2. Cooking a Whole Chicken: Yep, I went big. I wanted to see if this air fryer could handle the ultimate test of cooking a full bird evenly and keeping it juicy by removing the divider and making the air fryer space double in size.
  3. Cooking Two Dishes at Once (Vegetarian and Meat): With its ability to multitask, I tried preparing both a veggie dish and a meat dish at the same time. The results? Surprisingly impressive and flexible if you have a fussy eater!
  4. Baking Cookies and Brownies: Finally, I gave its baking capabilities a whirl with some classic sweet treats. Can an air fryer really handle cookies and brownies? You’ll have to watch the video to see how they turned out.

Each test pushed the Breville Halo Flexi in different ways, and I was honestly surprised by some of the results (and not always in the way you’d expect!).

Final Thoughts

So, is the Breville Halo Flexi the perfect air fryer? It’s definitely got a lot going for it. From crispy jacket potatoes to multitasking and even baking, it handles a variety of tasks with ease. If you’re looking for a versatile, easy-to-use air fryer that doesn’t hog your counter space, this one’s worth a closer look. It really does feel like this can replace an entire oven easily, in some ways, perhaps it’s too good!?
