We hope you enjoy this recipe for maple pecan popcorn! It’s absolutely delicious, ready in a flash and is another great cooking with kids recipes here on the website.

Simply cook the popcorn kernels in a large saucepan with the oil and a lid on for about 5 minutes or until all of the corn has popped (you’ll notice the corn stops popping!) give it a little shake in the pan whilst cooking then pour out onto a tray and get the kids to pick out any unpopped kernels. clean the pan and melt the butter, sugar, maple syrup and cinnamon together over a medium flame. Once it is bubbling let it simmer for a few minutes to darken in colour before dumping in the nuts and popcorn stirring to coat.

Pour onto a lined or greased baking tray, spread out and allow to cool fully before serving up. Hope you enjoy this super easy winter popcorn inspired recipe. A little Autumnal popcorn vibe for your tummy!
