Ingredients

4tbsp butter, melted
1/2tsp vanilla extract
pinch salt
1tbsp caster sugar
1tbsp light brown sugar
2tbsp cocoa powder
4tbsp self-raising flour
Handful milk chocolate chunks

This is an absolutely gorgeous video recipe for a Chocolate Brownie In A Mug. It is just mind blowingly good and tastes just like a proper baked chocolate brownie recipe, a proper quick fix that is extremely naughty indeed.

Start off by grabbing your mug and adding in the melted butter, this then gets joined by the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Give it a little stir to combine altogther.
Next up add in the cocoa powder, stirring slowly until merged with the butter mixture. This will be very chocolatey!

After that add in both the sugars, stir again until dissolved, this will take a few seconds, make sure it is all mixed in though before proceeding.

Add the self raising flour a little bit at a time to prevent a cloud of flour going everywhere, as you add it the mixture will get significantly thicker! Stir well until a thick batter like mixture is formed. Stick some chocolate chunks in, and now it is time for the microwave.

I am using a 800w microwave and using full power for 80 seconds. This will make it still slighlty gooey, and yes some will pop over the sides when using the microwave but I like that effect!
You may need to adjust timings depending on the power of your microwave.

Once done leave to stand for 5 minutes as the mug will be soooooo hot!! When safe to do so and still warm, move the mug from the microwave and add in the chocolate chunks. Leave to stand before eating with a spoon taking out chunks of that still warm gooey chocolate brownie!!

Hope you give this one a go folks!
